UFC Will Hit Rio de Janeiro

UFC CEO, Lorenzo Fertitta, and President, Dana White, are set to travel to Rio de Janeiro next week. They will announce, in conjunction with Mayor Eduardo Paes, the first UFC event ever to hit the city.
UFC execs, Lorenzo Fertitta and Dana White, are set to travel to Rio de Janeiro next week. Fertitta and White, together with Mayor Eduardo Paes, will announce the first UFC event that will hit the city. Fertitta, White and Paes will make the announcement on December 15, at the Mayor’s official residence in Palacio de Cidade. Also in attendance are UFC Champions Anderson Silva, Mauricio Rua and Jose Aldo. Middleweight contender, Vitor Belfort, and MMA legend, Royce Gracie, will be present as well.
UFC has not held any event in Brazil for over a decade now. The promotion’s last trip was in 1998 during the UFC 17.5 in Sao Paulo. Who among the best UFC fighters will highlight the first event in Rio de Janeiro? Drop your insights in the comment box.
