Shane Del Rosario seeks his first octagon win against Guto Inocente
The heavyweight showdown between Shane Del Rosario and Guto Inocente is the newest addition to the yearend event of the UFC. The fight will be Del Rosario’s third fight in the octagon and Inocente’s debut.
The 30 year old Del Rosario who has yet to win in the octagon is coming off back to back losses since the merger of Strikeforce and UFC. He is stopped by Stipe Miocic in his octagon debut and was also knocked out by Pat Barry in his most recent outing. Prior to the Miocic loss, Shane has started his career with 11 straight wins via stoppages and 10 of those wins came from the first round.
Guto Inocente is the newest guy that will try to prevent Shane from getting his first win. The Brazilian fighter has amassed a record of 6 – 2 in his professional career with 5 of those 6 wins coming before the final bell. He is now on a four fight winning streak but has not fought since May of 2012.
The two heavyweights will lock horns in the cards of UFC 168: Silva vs. Weidman 2.
