Despite the victory, Frank Mir was still unable to give the audience and Dana White an awe-inspiring performance at UFC 130 last Saturday.

Frank Mir defeated Roy Nelson at UFC 130 last Saturday night by rattling the latter with knees and takedowns. However, both the fans and Dana White voiced out their displeasure with the bout’s lack of action. Moreover, the UFC president elaborated his disappointed on Frank Mir after the post-fight press conference.

“I think this time, with the co-main event I was disappointed in both guys, not just in Frank. I was more disappointed in Frank on that last card, even though he ends up getting a knockout. Frank Mir is a two-time world champion, he’s been around for a long time, he’s a super talented guy, and I expect more of him.”

Dana White informed the people that Frank Mir went to the hospital after the match due to fractured jaw and rib. However, the fighter’s wife posted on Twitter that Frank Mir’s jaw was not broken. As for Roy Nelson, the UFC president said that he has scheduled a meeting with the TUF 10 winner later this week. Dana White even added that while Frank Mir has two consecutive wins already, the fighter is still not in the running for a heavyweight title shot.
