The UFC prelims have been missing from the Spike TV roster for the past couple events, since UFC 123, but it appears a return is near. Will UFC 126 Prelims air on Spike TV this February?
In one way or another, the UFC Prelims has become a staple in Spike TV since UFC 103. The program features two live preliminary bouts from UFC pay-per-view events, serving as a lead-in one our before the main card takes action. The UFC Prelims have been missing from Spike TV since UFC 123, but its seems that a return is soon to come.
There are rumors that UFC and Spike TV are in negotiations to bring UFC 126 prelims in the network. And there are indications that the negotiation is going well. In fact, it’s likely that fans will see a bantamweight bout between Chad Mendes and Michihiro Omigawa, and a lightweight match pitting Donald Cerrone and Paul Kelly.

The UFC 126 tickets are nearly sold out. But the promotion will hold an official closed circuit viewing to keep up with the demand. Do you already have your ticket for the upcoming UFC 126?

Injured lightweight fighter, Sam Stout, was replaced by Donald Cerrone to meet Paul Kelly at UFC 126 next month. The Cerrone vs Kelly bout is slated for UFC 126’s preliminary card. The upcoming UFC event will take place on February 5, at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The fight’s main card is also available on pay-per-view.
Donald Cerrone is a former WEC lightweight fighter, who recently concluded his career with a submission victory against Chris Horodecki at WEC 53. Paul Kelly, on the other hand, scored a TKO win over TJ O’Brien at UFC 123. Both fighters executed an impressive record on their resume.
