One is set to redeem his record, while the other has an impressive trail inside the Octagon. Will Tyson Griffin gets the victory he wants, or will Lentz be triumphant again?
UFC Lightweight valiant Tyson Griffin is set to meet Nik Lentz at UFC 123, this coming November 20 at Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan. Griffin is coming from two consecutive losses from Evan Dunham at UFC 115 and Takanori Gomi at UFC Live: Jones vs Matyunshenko. Aside from that, he has only lost to Sean Sherk and Frankie Edgar. But be that as it may, Griffin still holds an overall record of 7-4 wherein five out of his seven victories came by decision. Nik “The Carnie” Lentz, on the other hand, has a 3-0-1 record since signing with the UFC and notched a unanimous decision victory over Andre Winner last UFC 118. With an overall record of 19-3, The Carnie was undefeated for the last three years and with only two draws defacing his nine winning streak.
The Griffin vs Lentz bout is now included to the UFC 123 undercard. The event headlines the light heavyweight showdown between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Lyoto Machida.View Article Source »
