Mayhem Miller promises no "Bully Beatdown" antics at the TUF 14, but it will not be an "all work and no play" season either.
It goes without saying that Jayson “Mayhem” Miller is a high-energy personality who is capable of capturing an audience the moment he peeks his head out of the backstage — or the moment he appears on your TV screen at MTV’s “Bully Beatdown.” However, he insists that his priority as a coach on the soon-to-debut The Ultimate Fighter season 14 is fulfilling his duties.
While Mayhem Miller admits that it will not be all work and no play, he knew that coaching opposite Michael Bisping has a potential to stir the spot. But despite hoping for a successful TUF 14 run, both of them cleared out that they did not ham it up for the cameras. And since tension between the two of them seems inevitable, Jayson “Mayhem” Miller believes that the real draw to the TUF 14 is the quality of the fights.Read the rest of the article »

Reports say that UFC is searching for a new cable network partner to air their bouts after their contract with Spike TV ends. But Dana White finds it nonsense.
UFC president, Dana White, said on Thursday that the reports about the promotion negotiationg to buy a controlling interest in NBC Universal’s G4 channel were nothing but rumor. As for the reports and rumors that Spike TV is now leaving UFC after the their contract expires, he said that he was “not ruling out anything” including the talks about the renewal of contract with Spike TV.
Employees from Spike TV are said to refer the TUF 14 as the cable network’s “the last season”. The network’s executive are also seen to have visited Bellator events, making many fans think if Spike TV is resigned to losing the UFC and is already on the lookout for a new MMA show partner. The contract between Spike TV and UFC is said to end this year, and a recent report on a website – Bloomberg.com – advised that having a stake in G4 might cost the UFC as much as $600 million. Still, Dana White had no idea where that number came from.
“It’s stupid for me to talk about this while we’re in negotiations. It makes no sense whatsoever.”
But if it really is the end with UFC and Spike TV, do you thing a partnership with G4 can be possible? Share your insights by leaving a comment.View Article Source »
With TUF 13 soon coming to an end, speculations for the next season's coaches are heating up.
With the pairing stint of Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping for TUF 14 already scrapped, speculations arose on who’s going to fill the empty coaching spot. While UFC remained mum on whether Michael Bisping will coach on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, several names has been put forward as The Count’s potential rival. For one, there is Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller and there’s also Brian Stann.
However, UFC President – Dana White – immediately ruled out the possibility of Brian Stann taking one of the coaching slots. On the other hand, there were also denials about Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller’s inclusion in the show. But with his personality and previous television work with Bully Beatdown on MTV, Mayhem looks attractive for the role. Many also thought that he can “annoy the hell out of Michael Bisping” should he become one of the TUF 14 coaches. However, Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller is currently scheduled to face Aaron Simpson at UFC 132 this July.Read the rest of the article »
