Michael Bisping injured and out for the year, Mark Munoz faces Lyoto Machida in UFC Fight Night 30

Michael Bisping suffered an eye injury, Mark Munoz vs. Lyot Machida will headline UFC Fight Night 30
UFC middleweight contender Michael Bisping suffered an injury and has pulled out of UFC Fight Night 30. Full details about the injury have not been disclosed but it is reported that the Brit injured his eye weeks prior to his bout against Mark Munoz. It should be noted that Bisping also suffered an eye injury after his technical decision win against Alan Belcher last April.
Meanwhile, Mark Munoz will fight former UFC light heavyweight champ Lyoto Machida in the headlining bout of the event. Munoz is coming off an impressive unanimous decision win against Tim Boestch after taking a year off the octagon.
The fight will be Lyoto Machida’s middleweight debut. He is originally slated to face Tim Kennedy in the main event of UFC Fight for the Troops 3 that will be held on November 6.
