Former WWE and WCW star, Bill Goldberg, finds a new career as color commentator for Shark Fight Promotion.
Shark Fight Promotions named former WWE and WCW star, Bill Goldberg, as the new color commentator. He began his call at Shark Fights 15 last June 17, providing insights to Shark Fight’s lead announcer — Erik Apple.
Throughout his illustrious wrestling career, Bill Goldberg won multiple world championships titles and carries the longest undefeated winning streak in pro-wrestling. Following his retirement, he started to work as a commentator for EliteXC, and has hosted numerous TV series like Bullrun and Garage Mahal.
As stated by Shark Fight Promotions’ exec, Wes Nolen:
“Having Bill Goldberg on our broadcast team is a dream come true. He is a true legend in the sport, and brings with him not only massive popularity but a real genius when it comes to calling the action on television. There is no doubt he will elevate the value of our broadcasts.”
Erik Apple will be Shark Fight's new commentator, as the promotion expands its reach outside Texas for the first time.
Shark Fight Promotions named Erik Apple as the new commentator for the FUEL TV Shark Fight shows. The former MMA fighter and action sports TV host will start with the Shark Fights 15 telecast on June 17 and 24 at 10:00PM ET/PT.
Erik Apple became prominent in the world of action sports, giving commentary on X Games and motorcross’ national television broadcasts since 1999. He has also called MMA fights for three various promotions since 2003.Read the rest of the article »
After he lost his temper and decked Koscheck down, it was lucky for Paul Daley to fight again in the US. Brent Medley gave the Nottingham, England native a chance to show off his striking skills again.
Paul Daley has been added to the Shark Fights 13 Line-up on September 11 at the Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum in Amarillo, Texas. According to Brent Medley, Shark Fights President, opponent for the heavy-handed British is being finalized. Daley has signed to Shark Fights for one fight in accordance to the promotion’s standard contract.
Daley was one of the favorite fighters in the UK scene until he was picked for the co-promoted EliteXC Strikeforce event in 2007.
