Passion Tour 8: Yuji Sakuragi KOs Ryo Kawamura

Last Pancrase Passion Tour 8, Sakuragi ended Kawamura's night at 3:55 during the first round in Differ Ariake last Sunday. But since it's a non-title match, the King still has the throne. Well, Kawamura might not held on for long.
After a four-fight losing streak in Pancrase, Yuji Sakuragi stunned the light heavyweight King of Pancrase, Ryo Kawamura. The light heavyweight king was able to take control, despite receiving kicks to the head and body from Sakuragi. However, Kawamura was stiffened and put down after eating a right hook from his contender. Sakuragi missed a stomped, which the King of Pancrase took advantage to get back to his feet. But then again, Kawamura received another right hook, ending the night of the champion at 3:55 in the first round. Though Sakuragi won the match, the belt did not change hands because it is a non-title bout. But given this result, a title-rematch will certainly be written on the cards.
It seems like another Sakuragi vs Kawamura match is necessary, isn’t it? Will Sakuragi be the next King of Pancrase? Drop your insights below.
