Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson talks about leaving UFC, his health condition and a possible Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua rematch.

MMA H.E.A.T.’s Karyn Bryant caught up with former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson at the Fortune Gym in Los Angeles and hears what he has to say about his current health condition, the knee injury he sustained during the Jon Jones fight and the ‘TRT he underwent before the Ryan Bader fight’.

Jackson also shares his thoughts on leaving the UFC and the possibility of a Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua rematch.

Malki Kawa: Rampage Jackson is Just Creating a UFC 135 Hype

After the allegations that he was part of spying Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s camp, manager – Malki Kawa – released a statement to last Wednesday to deny any wrongdoings. The manager wrote that he was forced to respond to clear the record, after Rampage claimed he was caught spying red-handed.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is slated to face Jon Jones in a light heavyweight title match on UFC 135. The said tournament will go down on September 24, at Denver’s Pepsi Center.

Video: Dana White Said They Always Plan to Come Back to Denver

According to MMAWeekly's interview with Dana White, UFC planned to go back to Denver a long time ago.

The successful Ultimate Fighting Championship made a journey in Denver almost 20 years ago. However, the said promotion hasn’t done any pay-per-view event in the Mile High City since “The Ultimate Ultimate” in 1995. The promotion is still not under the Zuffa LLC back then.

Dana White, the president of UFC, said in an interview with that the company already planned their return to Denver. Now, they can finally do it. The big event that is set to take place in Denver will be UFC 135, where the UFC light heavyweight champion – Jon Jones – put his title on the line against the former champ — Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. UFC 135 also pits UFC Hall of Famer – Matt Hughes – against inaugural “Ultimate Fighter” winner – Diego Sanchez – as its co-main event on September 24 at the Pepsi Center.

No Rematch Yet for Jackson and Machida

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson felt that he owes Lyoto Machida a rematch after the victory he earned during UFC 123.

“That fight was so close, it was unfair for Machida. Even though I don’t want to, I have to give him a rematch,” Jackson said to UFC broadcaster Joe Rogan.

On the other hand, Machida is ready for a rematch but has to hear what UFC has to say about the possibility of another fight.

“That’s gonna be up to the UFC, but I’d like an immediate rematch also,” said Machida.
