UFC 121 and Strikeforce Challengers 11 — Clean and Drug Free

Just like other sports competitions, fighters undergo drug tests to assure a clean game. It was a fortunate event that UFC 121 and Strikeforce Challengers 11 fighters came out clean and drug free.

Good News! All the fighters who competed las October’s UFC 121 and Strikeforce Challengers 11 events are clean and free of drug abuse or any other performance-enhancing agents.

This news was today confirmed by a representative from the California State Athletic Commission.

The UFC 121 event took place last Oct. 23 in Anaheim, while Strikeforce Challengers 11 took place Oct. 22 in Fresno.

The current list of fighters tested were not disclosed, however CSAC traditionally tests headliners and other competitors chosen randomly from each card. UFC 121 featured a bout between Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez for heavyweight title fight, whereas Strikeforce Challengers 11 was headlined by welterweights Roger Bowling vs. Bobby Voelker.

All of the fighters tested negative for drugs of abuse (such as marijuana and cocaine), as well as anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancers.
