Marlon Sandro vs. Daniel Straus Bout Added to Bellator 68

Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney confirms that Marlon Sandro and Daniel Straus will face each other in the upcoming Bellator 68 event.

The tournament winner will have a total pay of $100,000 and a guaranteed title shot with reigning champion, Pat Curran.

The event will be held at the Palladium Ballroom in Caesars Atlantic City, New Jersey on May 11. It will be aired on MTV2 and can be watched through high-definition on EPIX. It will also stream live in Spike.com.

Phelipe Lins Signs Up with Bellator

Brazilian light heavyweight fighter, Phelipe Lins is now a part of the Bellator roster of fighters. He has recently signed up a contract with Bellator Fighting Championships.

Lins, who has been exclusively fighting in his mother country Brazil, recently became active to competing after almost a five-year break from the sport. He has recently defeated Daniel Alexandre, after earning a first-round knockout.

Lins is expected to appear in a season-six non-tournament fight.

ONE FC Match Between Melvin Manhoef And Yoshiyuki Nakanishi End in “No Contest”

Light heavyweight fighters Melvin Manhoef And Yoshiyuki Nakanishi both sustained deep leg wounds in the recently concluded event, ONE FC: War of the Lions.

Both fighters landed several hard shots during the early part of their fight, with the referee calling for a time out to have their nasty wounds checked by the staff. The bout was ended despite the objections of the fighters and was ruled a “No Contest”.

ONE FC: War of the Lions, took place in the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.

Bellator Signs Russian Fighter, Mikhail Malyutin

After reaching an agreement with Bellator promotions, thirty year old Russian, Mikhail Malyutin will now be a part of the their roster of fighters. He is expected to debut on their promotion’s sixth season.

Malyutin is a seven year veteran fighter with a standing of 3-1 in his past four fights. He has recently fought at the “M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Monson” event, November last year and has defeated Seydina Seck, earning a 47-second win.

Bellator has yet to announce Malyutin’s debut fight.
