Two UFC heavyweight fighters are slated for a critical match, as Roy Nelson and Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic are set to face each other at UFC 137 to redeem their respective career.

In a ‘loser leaves town’ match, Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic announced in a Croatian sports show – Gol – that he is set to face Roy Nelson at UFC 137. Both fighters are coming from multiple setbacks, with Roy Nelson carrying back-to-back losses from Junior Dos Santos at UFC 117 and Frank Mir at UFC 130.

Meanwhile, a win is also critical for Cro Cop, as he was knocked out for the second consecutive time at UFC 128 against Brendan Schaub. However, UFC President – Dana White – cleared out that the promotion still owns the former PRIDE open-weight champion one match on his contract. But an unimpressive win will definitely be Cro Cop’s last time to shine.

The UFC 137 is slated to take place on October 29, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
