For the second time around, a face-off between Gegard Mousasi and Mike Kyle is scheduled for a Strikeforce event in September.
Gegard Mousasi (30-3-2 MMA, 2-1-1 SF) and Mike Kyle (18-8-1 MMA, 2-3-1 SF) is possible to be lined-up for a match in a Strikeforce event this coming September 10. Would you like a Dan Henderson vs Fedor Emelianenko superfight? Or would your like Dan Henderson to compete with the Mousasi vs Kyle winner? Take your pick.
Strikeforce’s new Light Heavyweight champ, Dan Henderson, says he will give it one more go this summer before taking his time off with his family. And the next logical contender on his list would be the winner of Gegard Mousasi vs Mike Kyle fight. However, Dan Henderson also pointed out that he is open to meeting Fedor Emelianenko inside the cage.
According to the new champ, his priority is to defend his title. But while on that, Dan Henderson is also willing to fight at middleweight or heavyweight if the right opportunity comes. And Fedor Emelianenko could present such a favorable circumstance. However, the Henderson vs Emelianenko superfight seems unlikely, since the front-runner for the Light Heavyweight champion’s return will be the winner of Mousasi vs Kyle bout.

Mike Kyle will step in to fight contender Antonio Silva on this Saturday's Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu card. Will Kyle have another shot in cleaning his image some more?
Mike Kyle, who has settled in light heavyweight this year, will make a heavyweight return facing Antonio Silva on Strikeforce: Henderson vs Babalu card. He will replace Valentijn Overeem, and will enter the match undefeated since his loss to Fabricio Werdum in August 2009. Distinct with his poor sportsmanship in the mid-2000’s, Mike Kyle is trying to clean his image lately with victories from different MMA events. Meanwhile, Antonio Silva is coming off a win from Andrei Arlovski via unanimous decision last May. But prior to that, he has acquired a decision loss during his Strikeforce debut from Fabricio Werdum also.
With both of them sharing a recent loss to Werdum, will Mike Kyle’s six-fight streak be marred by Antonio Silva this time?View Article Source »
