After replacing the slots of John Makdessi and Paul Taylor on UFC on Versus 5, Donald Cerrone and Charles Oliveira's bout were moved to the event's main card.
The lightweight showdown between Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and Charles Oliveira was moved to the UFC on Versus 5’s main card matches that will take place in Milwaukee.
However, the two fighters are not the original ones that are scheduled for the August card. The original fight was a showdown between John Makdessi and Paul Taylor. But the former had an injury that forced him to pull out from the said match. Then Donald Cerrone stepped in to replace him. Several days later, Paul Taylor was forced out of the bout and the UFC officials get Charles Oliveira to face the Cowboy.
Both fighters are widely known for their exciting and non-stop action performance on their every fights, and that’s the reason why the match between them was moved on the main card that will be televised for UFC on Versus 5. After Dominck Cruz retains his UFC Bantamweight championship belt against Urijah Faber, UFC 132: Cruz vs Faber is now in the books.
Last Saturday night, current Bantamweight champion – Dominick Cruz – was able to avenge his sole defeat over Urijah Faber at UFC 132. But despite earning a unanimous decision victory against the California Kid, the reigning king was not able to gain more fans from the audience crammed up at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Nevertheless, he thanked his supporters and haters all the same.
“All you fans out there, thank you so much for your support, and thank you so much if you didn’t because you’re helping me get stronger.”

Strikeforce Challengers 17's main card is now complete, as a light heavyweight match between Joe Cason and Ovince St-Preux was added to the event.
A previously reported match-up between light heavyweight fighters, Joe Cason and Ovince St-Preux is now official for Strikeforce Challengers 17. The bout will complete the tournament’s five-fight main card.
Kicking off on July 22 at The Pearl in Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Strikeforce Challengers 17 will feature a trilogy fight between Roger Bowling and Bobby Voelker. The night’s main card will air live in Showtime.

Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard will meet for the third time to finished their bout. Will a score be settled this time?
UFC has officially announced the main card for UFC 130: Edgar vs Maynard 3. The event that is set on May 30 in Las Vegas, will feature a lightweight title match between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard for the third time. They both met on New Year’s Day, but the match ended to a draw after an epic five round battle. And they will meet once again to settle the score once and for all.
Also included in the main card is a light heavyweight match-up pitting Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Matt Hamill. Former UFC Heavyweight champion, Frank Mir, will meet TUF 10 winner, Roy Nelson in UFC 130’s co-main event. Stefan Struve will lock horns with Travis Browne on a heavyweight bout, and a Brain Stann vs Jorge Santiago fight will close the event’s main card.

Shogun Rua’s skills will be tested in the Octagon against Jon Jones. Both of them are very well-rounded fighters, but have distinctive fighting styles. Jon Jones has a very elusive stand up game, despite having no Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. He has won Submission of the Night, and he can be a difficult opponent to take down.
