UFC 124: GSP Takes the Belt and More

GSP once again proves that he is one of the best fighters in the history of MMA. Who among your favorite UFC 124 fighters took home the bacon, and who went out of the Octagon empty-handed?

The mixed martial arts’ most dominant champion, George St-Pierre, notched another unanimous decision after defeating Josh Koscheck last Saturday at UFC 124. All three judges scored 50-45 in favor of the undefeated welterweight king.

It is obvious that Koscheck have no match for GSP’s take down and occasional winging punch. The 29-year-old pound-for-pound fighter battered Koscheck with strikes, and drilled him with a steady stream of piston-like left jabs.

GSP Will Finish Koscheck

The UFC 124 is fast approaching and George St-Pierre is putting his UFC Welterweight Championship belt on the line. Can his preparation help him to finish Josh Koscheck?

George St-Pierre usually plays his card closer and closer to the vest. The UFC welterweight champion is consistent in keeping his preparation and strategy a secret whenever asked. But in a conference call last Monday, GSP lets his guards down for a while. During the course of the 45-minute call, he asserts his emphasis on finishing his brash challenger, Josh Koscheck. George St-Pierre also added that he spent his time training with Freddie Roach and Roger Gracie to refine his boxing and Jiu Jitsu skills for the upcoming UFC 124.
