Spike to Air UFC 130 Prelims Two Interesting Fight Cards

Spike will not let the viewers to miss an interesting UFC 130 fight cards featuring Miguel Torres vs. Demetrious Johnson and Tim Boetsch against Kendall Grove.

Spike will broadcast two preliminary UFC 130 card featuring Miguel Torres vs. Demetrious Johnson and the bout between Kendall Grove and Tim Boetsch on May 28, at 8 pm ET.

It is a tough match between Miguel Torres and Demetrious Johnson. Johnson, 9-1, remains undefeated in his last three consecutive fights including his victory against Kid Yamamoto at UFC 126. On the other hand, Torres, 39-3, won his most recent bout against Antonio Banuelos via unanimous decision.

Meanwhile, Kendall Grove and Tim Boetsch are looking for a victory after they were both defeated in their last bout. Grove lost to Demian Maia last December while Boetsch was defeated by Phil Davis via submission at UFC 123. Tim Boetsch have 12-4 record and Kendall Grove have 12-8 (with one no contest decision) record.

Kid Yamamoto Out, Michael McDonald In for UFC 130

UFC 130 had another change of match-up, as Michael McDonald replaces Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto to face Chris Cariaso.

Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto will have to wait a while before getting in the winner’s column, as he was forced out of the upcoming UFC 130 match due to an injury. Stepping in for him to face Chris Cariaso is the 20-years-old, Michael McDonald.

UFC’s youngest fighter debuted a month ago at UFC Fight Night 24, where he defeated Edwin Figueroa via unanimous decision. Michael McDonald also bagged a Fight of the Night bonus at the said event.

UFC 130 will feature a trilogy rematch between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. The Edgar vs Maynard 3 event is set to take action on May 28, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Facebook will Stream Kid Yamamoto’s UFC Debut for Free

The Yamamoto vs Johnson bout at UFC 126 will air on the promotion's Facebook page for free. All fans need to do is click "like".

UFC announced today that Facebook will broadcast Norifumi Yamamoto’s debut for free, as he faces Demetrious Johnson at UFC 126. So if you’re not cool with the news that Spike TV Prelims will not air this bout, all you have to do is “like” UFC’s Facebook page.

However, many fans are not quite glad with this news. Some of them were whining that FB fights cannot be viewed on their phone, while others complain about Facebook’s frequent lagging during fights. Now, if only UFC and Facebook will listen, maybe they can work this thing out.
