Not only did Keith Jardine lose from Trevor Prangley, and lose again for the fifth time straight, but he also incurred indefinite suspension from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for “sportsmanship.”

Here was what happened at the Shark Fights 13, according to Keith Jardine’s manager, John Madrid: “When Keith got through the crowd area, he was stopped and somebody was pulling on his shirt, out of reaction Keith pushed the guy to get him off and it happened to be (a Texas official).”

It was an honest mistake, an instinctive act when put in a situation where you were being grabbed in a snap, Madrid defended. But officials “would have none of it” and pursued the complaint on the fight night.

But it was indefinite because a hearing would be underway. Jardine was on his first fight in a four-fight skid when this happened. It looked like it was a tough test to break through for the UFC veteran, and he had to keep his track in the bouncing back road.
