Several days later, Paul Taylor was forced out of the bout and the UFC officials get Charles Oliveira to face the Cowboy.

A new fighter is making his first step in the UFC soil. John "The Bull" Makdessi is set to make his UFC debut against Pat Audinwood at UFC 124. Will this be a start of something better for The Bull?

Canadian native John Makdessi has signed with UFC and is set to make his debut against Pat Audinwood at UFC 124. Makdessi, who has not yet fought outside Canada, will make his appearance under the UFC banner in his home turf. The UFC 124, that will feature a title defense fight between George St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck, will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal on December 11

A student of Firas Zahabi, John “The Bull” Makdessi won a decision over Bendy Casimir last month. And glad to welcome Makdessi in the promotion is Pat Audinwood. Audinwood, on the other hand, is coming from his first submission setback in his entire career by Thiago Tavares last UFC 119.

Having the need to go the distance, who can make it before the final bell strikes? Will it be the newcomer or the long-time UFC fighter?
