"It's time to move on and focus on all the other amazing things going on in my life." ---Randy Couture

Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Hall of Famer Randy Couture shocked the world last Tuesday evening when he suddenly announced that he is quitting on his MMA career of 13 years, with 29 fights and two titles.

“I think I’m at the end of it y’all,” Couture tweeted last Tuesday on his Twitter account wherein he has more than 70,000 followers. “It’s time.”

“It’s time to move on and focus on all the other amazing things going on in my life,” he added on his Facebook account.

But this statement is premature, according to his lawyer and representative, Sam Spira.

“There’s been no official announcement,” Spira said. “There’s been no decision. Any announcements or decisions would be likely coordinated with the UFC.”

James "Lights Out" Toney fearlessly predict his win against UFC Legend Randy Couture.

In this side of the mixed martial arts world, James “Lights Out” Toney, one of the best fighters in his generation, did not mince words in predicting his win against UFC Legend Randy Couture. In an MMAFighting.com chat, he wielded remarks that are way barbaric to be unbelievable, yet too loud to be laudable.

“If Randy tries to grab me I’ll hit him so hard his grandparents will feel it,” Toney said, despite odd makers giving him little chance of putting it up over Couture in a three-round heavyweight fight. He kept mentioning he is going to hurt his opponent big time and belittled Couture’s striking ability. It seems that Toney is determined to get somebody hurt in the ring comes his UFC 118 fight. A very serious summed it up, “I’m in the business of hurting people, and that’s what I’m planning on doing.”
