Pyle Out-wrestled Hathaway

John "The Hitman" Hathaway's record got its first cross mark after acquiring his pioneer defeat from Xtreme Couture's Mike Pyle. And in addition to a marred record, he also got a battered face.
Mike Pyle ended John “The Hitman” Hathaway’s undefeated streak via unanimous decision at the UFC 120 last Saturday. Both fighters came out in the first round with caution. But it was not long before Pyle shot a hard double-leg to the London Shootfighters product. However, Hathaway was able to recover and took the center cage. Still, Pyle managed to find a home for his right hand, throwing his opponent to the floor to end the frame.

Before you miss the fun, the UFC 120 will no longer air at 9:00 pm. Tune in on SpikeTV at 8:00 pm ET on Saturday, so you can get the scoop to the upcoming hard-hitting event.
UFC and SpikeTV issued a programming alert today with regards to the upcoming UFC 120 telecast. The UFC 120: Bisping vs Akiyama will air in tape-delay at 8:00 pm ET on SpikeTV, and no longer at 9:00 pm as previously listed. The event will feature a hard-hitting middleweight battle between Michael Bisping and Yoshihiro Akiyama, plus Dan Hardy will fight his way back to the 170-pond title shot against Carlos Condit. Another exciting fight between John Hathaway and Mike Pyle has also been made official for the bout.

It seems like the level of support British fighters get from their fans is so unbelievable, that the 02 Arena has to reconfigure the seats for more upcoming fans. It's going to be a blistering night on October 16.
Featuring the three greatest Britons in the UFC History — Michael Bisping, Dan Hardy and John Hathaway — the UFC 120 has sold out its original seating plan. Fortunately for more fans, the UFC has worked with the 02 Arena to reconfigure the venue and allow more extra seats to be made available.

UFC 120 will be aired by Spike TV on a tape-delay basis on October 16 at 9:00 PM ET. Who among the British fighter will you put your bet on?
Spike TV will telecast the return of UFC to London on October 16 on a tape-delay basis. The match will feature at least five bouts according to the cable network. The UFC already made its who’s who of the best British fighters for the event. Competing on the main card will be Michael Bisping, Dan Hardy, John Hathaway and James Wilks. The telecast will begin at 9:00 PM ET. If the time permits, the match between Cyrille Diabate vs. Alexander Gustafson and Stanislav Nedkov vs. Steve Cantwell could also be shown.
