UFC signs nine official match-ups for UFC 130 fight card, including a trilogy rematch between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard.

UFC 130: Edgar vs Maynard 3 signs nine official match-ups for the upcoming May 28 event.

TUF season 3 winner, Kendall Grove, will welcome Tim Boetsch in the Octagon for a middleweight brawl. Meanwhile, Demetrius Johnson will square off with Renan Barao in a 135-pound showdown. In addition to this, UFC 130 will also highlight a light heavyweight match between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Matt Hamill. Also in the card is a heavyweight duel pitting Frank Mir and Roy Nelson.

UFC 130, Official with Seven New Bouts

After the revelation of UFC 130's main card, seven new bouts were added to Edgar vs Maynard 3 fight card.

In just a couple of months, UFC 130 will kick off in Las Vegas with Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard completing their trilogy fight in a main event. After the main card was revealed last week, seven new bouts were added to UFC 130’s fight card.

Former WEC Bantamweight champion, Miguel Torres, will collide with Brad Pickett in a featured match-up at Edgar vs Maynard 3. In addition to this, a light heavyweight showdown will put Quinton “Rampage” Jackson contra Matt Hamill. In a heavyweight fight, Frank Mir will face TUF 10 winner, Roy Nelson.

UFC 130 Taking Shape

With UFC stacking good fight cards this year, matchmakers - Joe Silva and Sean Shelby - once again set another main card for UFC 130. Check out the latest UFC 130 fight card below.

After booking almost all major events through UFC 129, UFC matchmakers, Joe Silva and Sean Shelby, once again set the main card for UFC 130. Set to take action on May 28, UFC 130 will be headlined by a third fight between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard.

As fans can recall, Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard recently greenlit UFC 125, wherein Frankie Edgar tried to defend his lightweight championship belt against Gray Maynard. However, the fight ended with a draw, prompting officials to book the third meeting.

UFC 119: Mir Victorious Over Cro Cop

The fight was not what we expected it to be. First, Cro Cop and Mir were just clinching each other on the cage for three whole rounds. Second, we thought that Cro Cop is hard to knock out. Third, it was a boring 14-minute sparring rather than a fight.

Frank Mir’s brutal knee ended up the fight of Mirko Cro Cop last Saturday on UFC 119. Making it a KO win for Frank Mir ending up a 14 minute action for the headliners.

Cro Cop eventually wasn’t hurt much and got up quickly after the KO. But afterward he went up to Mir and asked what happened. Irony is that, before the bout there are speculations that Mir had to do extreme grappling in order to KO a striker like Cro Cop. Mir turned out to win without so much action.

“I just pulled a victory over Mirko with no jiu jitsu,” Mir said.

UFC 119: Ten Battles to Watch Out For

Conseco Fieldhouse will be the home of the ten battles for UFC 119.

It’s gonna be “Mir vs. Nogueira 2” on UFC 119. The event will happen on Sept. 25 at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Waylon Lowe and Steve Lopez will be featured in the prelim lightweight matchup. As of now, ten fights are listed for UFC 119, which is also be shown on pay-per-view.

World-ranked heavyweights Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will have a rematch as the headliner brawl for UFC 119. Other much-anticipated battle is between “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 winner Ryan Bader and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. This is a pivotal light heavyweight showdown many are longing for.
