After BJ Penn and Jon Fitch withdrew from their UFC 132 match, a new pair is up in the main card. Who's going to win between Carlos Condit and Dong Hyun Kim.

Last Friday, UFC officials announced that a welterweight bout between Dong Hyun Kim and Carlos Condit will take place this summer at UFC 132. The Carlos Condit vs Dong Hyun Kim welterweight fight, is likely to be part of the UFC 132 main card.

Carlos Condit has been wanting to face BJ Penn on the same event. Unfortunately, the former UFC champion backed out from the card due to shoulder injury. A former WEC champion, Carlos Condit is coming off a first-round knockout loss against Dan Hardy last October. Meanwhile, Dong Hyun Kim is a fighter from South Korea that aims to keep his undefeated record intact. He has recently posted three straight decision wins, including his victory over Nate Diaz at UFC 125.

A bantamweight title fight between Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber will headline the July 2 event. UFC 132 will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and will air live on pay-per-view.

Nate Diaz vs Dong Hyun Kim, Set for UFC 125

Written on October 08, 2010 by Markham Mencken

Nate Diaz is slated to face a strong wrestler in Dong Hyun Kim. But with Diaz's previous record with the wrestlers, can the match make it a spectacular night? Will Stockton have their not-so-happy New Year?

Nate Diaz is said to make his UFC comeback against Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 125. Nate Diaz is coming from his second welterweight victory after beating Marcus Davis at UFC 118. Dong Hyun “Stun Gun” Kim, on the other hand, last appeared with a unanimous decision win over Amir Sadollah at UFC 114.

Diaz is making his way on the welterweight division. But with lightweight losses from the likes of Gray Maynard, Joe Stevenson and Clay Guida, Diaz is deemed vulnerable against strong wrestlers. If Stun Gun can take him down the same way as that of Sadollah, Stockton might have a sad night.
