Rousimar Palhares vs Dan Miller's bout has been moved to UFC 134's Spike TV preliminary card.
UFC 134 made a slight change in its show, as the Rousimar Palhares vs Dan Miller bout has been bumped up to the Spike TV preliminary card. Their match will be featured along Thiago Tavares vs Spencer Fisher. On the other hand, the welterweight bout between Paulo Thiago and David Mitchell will now air on Facebook together with the four UFC 134 undercard.
Rousimar Palhares will be looking for his second consecutive win, while trying to please his home country fans in Brazil. Meanwhile, Dan Miller is hoping to bounce back after his unanimous decision loss to Nate Marquardt at UFC 128 last March.

Nate Marquardt's fate is still undecided, as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission postponed their hearing until next week.
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission was scheduled to meet Nate Marquardt last week, in relation to the fighter’s suspension due to high levels of testosterone. However, the said meeting was postponed until next week, with a decision likely to be rendered on July 13.
PSAC suspended Nate Marquardt after his pre-fight test revealed high testosterone levels. However, the fighter explained at MMAFighting.com last week that he was undergoing Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) since summer of last year. After a short notice, Dan Miller is set to face Rousimar Palhares at UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro.
Going on with a long trend of stepping into bouts on a short notice, Dan Miller was tapped to face Rousimar Palhares at UFC 134. The latter was supposed to meet Alexandre Ferreira before being removed from the bout due to undisclosed reasons.
Dan Miller is coming off a unanimous decision loss over Nate Marquardt at UFC 128. The latter was expected to lock horns with Yushin Okami, but the Japanese MMA fighter bowed out from the bout following the Japan earthquake and tsunami incident. Dan Miller carries a 13-5 record, with one No Decision on his professional career. Rousimar Palhares, on the other hand, will attempt to have his second straight win after submitting Dave Branch last March. He is carrying a 12-3 record, and has won four of his last five bouts in UFC.

Due to unprecedented events in Japan last week, Yoshihiro Akiyama drops off from the UFC 128 card.
After an 8.8 magnitude earthquake and tsunami ravaged Japan last week, Yoshihiro Akiyama was forced to drop off from the upcoming UFC 128 card. He was slated to face Nate Marquardt on March 19, at UFC 128: Shogun vs Jones event. But due to a cataclysmic event in his native Japan, Sexyama was forced to withdraw from the fight.
Dan Miller was tapped to replace him, and face Nate Marquardt. Dan Miller’s original opponent, NIck Catone, will now face Costantinos Philippou on a catch-weight undercard fight at 195 pounds.
