Brendan Schaub hopes that Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira would be the last bullet in his list to point out why he deserves a title shot. Regardless, he plans on making a statement by slugging it out with Big Nog.

Following Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira’s announcement of fighting at the upcoming UFC 134, two heavyweight fighters are waiting for a tap to join him in the Octagon. Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic and Brendan Schaub made their interest to fight Minatauro Nogueria known to the public.

Albeit Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria’s coach – Luis Dorea – personally hoped for Cro Cop, Brendan Schaub and his team believes that he deserve the spot. Manager, Lex McMahon, said in a text to ESPN.com that they are optimistic to get the fight at UFC 134.
