Last June, MMA fans were spoiled with three UFC events. However, the promotion will pull the first truly stacked card of the summer with UFC 132: Cruz vs Faber.
Bantamweight champ, Dominick Cruz, will defend his UFC title belt for the first time against the only man who was able to beat him — Urijah Faber. The match-up is worth the pay-per-view, while the whole fight card is full of superstars and especially compelling match-ups.

Following UFC's tradition of airing prelim matches on Facebook, four of UFC 132's undercard bouts will be broadcast the promotion official Facebook Page.
UFC, once again, gives their fans free fights to watch on their official Facebook page. Four fights from the UFC 132 card is now scheduled to air on Facebook on Saturday night. Starting 6pm ET/ 3pm PT on Saturday, preliminary matches will be aired on Facebook, which is the only place where fans could watch the prelim of UFC’s event. While the rest of the show including the main event will be on pay-per-view.
The four fights that will air on Facebook includes matches between Brian Bowles vs Takeya Mizugaki, Aaron Simpson vs. Brad Tavares, Anthony Njokuani vs. Andre Winner and Jeff Hougland vs. Donny Walker.
UFC 132 is the latest event that will be air on Facebook, following the UFC’s tradition of broadcasting every fight on a card between multiple multimedia outlet. After the prelim ends, the broadcast will shift on Spike TV where fans could watch the main card.View Article Source »
The expected match up between Brad Tavares and Phil Baroni is now final. The Ultimate Fighting Championship committee recently announced that the two fighters will join the UFC 125: Resolution's preliminary card. The event marks the promotion's opening event for the year 2011.
There had been a rumor before that there will be a match up between “The Ultimate Fighter 11″semifinalist Brad Tavares (5-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and veteran fighter Phil Baroni (13-12 MMA, 3-6 UFC) in the near future. Now, the rumor goes official.
UFC officials recently announced that the match up will take place on the evening’s preliminary card. “UFC 125: Resolution” mark UFC’s opening event for 2011. It will take place on Jan. 1 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and the night’s main card airs on pay-per-view.

UFC 125 will open the year 2011 with a bang! The January 1 event will cast fighters who are making big come backs. The unofficial rumor is that Tavares will risk his undefeated glory to the veteran Baroni. We're surely not going to miss that.
Brad Tavares(5-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) of the Ultimate Fighter 11 will risk a perfect record just so he could play the cards with Phil Baroni. Baroni (13-12 MMA, 3-6 UFC) is a veteran fighter, they will meet on UFC 125. Though not yet officially announced, verbal agreement was said to be closed. After the semifinal cast off on TUF 11, Tavares fought Seth Baczynski at the show’s finale last June. He won via decision that moved his record to 5-0. UFC 125 will mark his first fight after 6 months.
On the other hand, Baroni is on the rebound after his November 2009 loss to TUF 7 champion Amir Sadollah. While an injury force him out of UFC 118 last August. Baroni made a UFC come back last 2001 and following a release in 2005. He had striked on PRIDE, Strikeforce, Elitexc and other promotions as well.View Article Source »
