Blackburn Gets Another Bellator Fight

"It was a very close fight. I got right hand happy and I went away from our gameplan. Rookie mistake and I won't make it next time. I stopped boxing because I wanted to get my knockout." - Brad Blackburn
Bellator CEO, Bjorn Rebney, has retained Brad “Bad” Blackburn’s services even after falling short in his debut against Dan Hornbuckle. The CEO made him stay because of his performance last Thursday at Bellator 25 in Chicago. For Blackburn, it was a very close fight if only he did not go right hand happy and lost in the game plan — rookie mistake. However, Bad was able to close his distance toward Hornbuckle giving his opponent a supposed to be knockout. His unanimous decision against Hornbuckle was his third loss, and he doesn’t want his four straight defeats in 2005 to occur again.

I want to fight within two weeks. I don’t have any injuries so I got to keep training, come back here and get me a win.”
