UFC 129 is still far from happening. But one by one the fight card is building up. Now, it's Mark Bocek vs Ben Henderson for the preliminary, who's next?
It seems that another fight is on the rise. Contender Mark Bocek (9-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) and former WEC champ Ben Henderson (12-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) are now under considerations for this April’s UFC 129 event.
Sources said that verbal agreements were already on-going. Though the officials didn’t say anything about it.
UFC 129 is slated for April 30 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. The night’s main card airs on pay-per-view. The fight serves as Henderson’s debut fight in UFC. This past month, ending WEC 53, Henderson lost his belt to Anthony Pettis. It snapped his 10-fight win streak including his title win over Jamie Varner and a successful title defense over Donald Cerrone.
Meanwhile, Bocek seeks for his fifth win in his past six UFC fights. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu champ lone lost came to lightweight contender Jim Miller. Submission wins, meanwhile, have come over Alvin Robinson, David Bielkheden, Joe Brammer and Dustin Hazelett. The past two wins earned “Submission of the Night” bonus checks.View Article Source »
