Bellator Season 4 is not due any time soon, but to entice you more, FightingInsider gives you a glimpse on what to expect for the 4th season of the tournament.
The season four of Bellator is not due for another two months, but let’s time travel to see what’s inside the tourney.
To start of this season, Bellator shows will finally be airing via live broadcast after the deal was sealed with MTV2. Seasons two and three were telecast live on Fox Sports Net before, but now we’ll be seeing in new home channel.
Welterweight Tournament Almost Complete
Since we’ve heard about tournament participants on the early days of this month and the participants were handed down one by one, the welterweight tournament is partially revealed to the public as of the moment.
Official for the welterweight side are season three finalist Dan Hornbuckle, judo black belt Jim Wallhead, undefeated Chris Lozano, prospect Brent Weedman, 2004 judo Olympian Rick Hawn and former Bellator champion Lyman Good. The official results for Bellator 32 weigh-ins are done, luckily all the fighters were weighed without issues.
Official fighter weigh-ins for Thrusday’s Bellator 32 happened today, apparently all fighters made it on the weighing scale. The weigh-ins took place at the The Kansas City Marriott Downtown in Missouri.
Those who are in weight were heavyweights Cole Kondrad and Neil Grove as well as bantamweight semifinalists Ed West and Zack Makovsky. All the co-headliners were weighed without issues – aside from West, who weighed in nude and quickly covered himself with a towel.Read the rest of the article »
The Bellator 28 fighters had their weigh-ins today in New Orleans.
The Bellator Fighting Championships hosted the official Weigh-ins for the Bellator 28 fighters. All the 18 competitors made weight successfully. The weigh-ins took place at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in New Orleans.
MMA veteran Rich Clementi (155.6 pounds) and co-headliner Carey Vanier (156) both made weight without issue.
Meanwhile Bellator gained fame with its intriguing eight-man tournaments, Bellator 28 takes a rare night off from these affairs in order to give chance to its stars and new prospects.
UFC veterans Clementi and Matt Horwich wants to be on the Bellator banner while tourney competitors Georgi Karakhanyan and Eric Schambari also aspire for victory.
