Ninja Rua Resigns After His Defeat in BAMMA 6

Last Saturday, Tom ‘Kong’ Watson successfully defended his title against Murilo ‘Ninja’ Rua via TKO in Bamma 6 at Wembley Arena. ‘Ninja’ Rua, the older brother of Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, was knocked down in third round of the bout through Watson’s terrific style of kicks. After that, the former EliteXC middleweight champion announced his retirement on Twitter.

The 31-year-old Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert, Murilo ‘Ninja’ Rua, started his career in Chute Boxe Academy and eventually joined PRIDE, DREAM, EliteXC, Cage Rage. He will leave the MMA with 20-12-1 record. But despite all that, he will still be one of MMA’s most exciting fighter.
