"The reality is this is where he makes his money. The money isn't in the movie business unless you're (George) Clooney. I think he's taking it serious." ---Dana White

A few months ago , UFC president Dana White was not pleased to put the fight between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans on hold. Now, Jackson is focused on fighting again, White believes he’ll never have the same problem.

“The reality is this is where he makes his money. The money isn’t in the movie business unless you’re (George) Clooney. I think he’s taking it serious.”

Jackson, delayed his UFC 114 fight with Evans for almost half a year in order to portray B.A. Baracus on a feature-film version of “The A-Team.” Evans earned a unanimous decision victory, and Jackson later said that he knew his chances of winning were dimmed due to the events that took place outside of the cage.

White believed that the things happened outside the octagon somehow affected Jackson’ fighting goals.

"When you get in the octagon, you fight. It's not like boxing where guys are trying to outpoint each other and go for a decision. We're MMA fighters, we're the best athletes in the world. I just hate to see our sport change into boxing where people aren't even fighting anymore. I can't even watch a boxing match anymore." ---Quinton "Rampage" Jackson

Way back in March 2009, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson said something about his current opponent Lyoto Machida who was at that time on his way of becoming the UFC light-heavyweight champion.

Jackson isn’t a fan of Machida’s fighting skills. He reffered to it as “boring as hell.” Since it’s their time to prove themselves, the fire between the two were rekindled whether the perception was changed or not.

“Why would it change because I’m matched up with him?” Jackson said during a UFC 123 conference call. Why would I change how I like his fighting style just beause I’m fighting him?”
