Terry Etim returns to cage at Bellator 106: Tito vs. Rampage
Submission ace Terry Etim will make his Bellator debut opposite Patrick Cenoble at Bellator 106
Bellator officials have recently announced that four- time UFC Submission of the Night winner Terry Etim has signed with their promotion. The UFC veteran will make his debut in Bellator’s first pay-per-view event headlined by UFC legends Tito Ortiz and Rampage Jackson. He is slated to face the hard hitting Florida native Patrick Cenoble in the Spike TV preliminary cards.
Etim, who is 1 – 3 in his last four fights, was released from the UFC after dropping a decision to Renee Forte at UFC on Fuel TV 7. Prior to that loss, he was knocked out by a spinning heel kick from Edson Barboza in a fight that earned the Knock out of the Night and Fight of the Night honors of UFC 142. The highlight reel knock out is also the runner up in UFC’s top 100 knockouts of all time.
His opponent, Patrick Cenoble is looking for his first win with Bellator. He made his promotional debut last March when he fought Tony Fryklund to a split draw. Cenoble, whose record stands at 9-2-1, has not been submitted in his entire career. He also earned eight out of his nine wins by knockout.
Bellator 106: Tito vs. Rampage will take place at the Long Beach Arena, South California on November 2. The event will also feature the much anticipated rematch between current lightweight champ Michael Chandler and Eddie Alvarez as well as a the fourth title defense of featherweight champ Pat Curran against Daniel Strauss.
