Rodrigo Damm's kidney injury resulted in the removal of the featherweight showdown between him and Hacran Dias in UFC Fight Night 29
The upcoming featherweight matchup between Rodrigo Damm and Hacran Dias was removed from the UFC Fight Night 29 due to Damm’s injury. It was reported that Damm has suffered from kidney stone attack while cutting weight for his upcoming fight. Damm already has a history with weight cutting and kidney issues. He was pulled out from the semi finals of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil when he suffered the same injury.
UFC has decided not to seek for replacement and the event will now go on with just 10 matches. Here is the updated lineup after the cancellation of the Damm vs. Dias bout:
