Cody McKenzie battles Sam Stout in UFC on Fox 9

Cody McKenzie vs. Sam Stout is the latest addition to UFC on Fox 9
Cody McKenzie returns to the lightweight division after splitting his two fights at 145 lbs. He started his featherweight campaign with a 31-second TKO loss to Chad Mendez a year ago in UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen 2. He bounced back this April when he defeated Leonard Garcia by unanimous decision. McKenzie is known for his modified guillotine that he calls the “McKenzitine”. He has used the technique in 11 of his 13 wins with his victory over Garcia the only one to last the distance.
Facing him is Sam Stout, who is trying to avoid back to back losses. The Canadian is coming off a submission loss to James Krause in a fight that earned the Fight of the Night awards. It is his 6th award making him the fighter with the most FOTN honors along with Chris Lytle.
