Former UFC heavyweight champion Antônio Rodrigo ‘Big Nog’ Nogueira is set to make an awaited octagon return via the upcoming UFC 153 event. Nogueira has been recovering from an arm injury that he sustained after losing to Frank Mir at last year’s UFC 140.
The ‘Big Nog’ is said to be fighting Dave ‘Pee Wee’ Herman in his impending bout. Herman announced this news in a recent interview with website, Tatame.com.br:
“I’m excited to retire the Minotaur. I’ll make a point to be his last fight”
“After my last I had surgery, but now I’m good to fight. He does not want to be retired in Brazil, especially against me … That will not be good for him.“
UFC 153 is set to take place at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on October 13, 2012. The bout will be headlined by a match between Anderson Silva and veteran light heavyweight Stephan Bonnar.View Article Source »
