Cris ‘Cyborg’ Says Fight with Rousey is Still Unconfirmed
Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos says she will only talk about Rousey, once she signs a contract of their well-awaited fight
MMA fans are waiting for Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos’ return to the cage, after her shocking suspension for testing positive for stanozolol, last December.
Rousey wants her to come down and fight her at 135-lbs, however ‘Cyborg’ remains firm and is only willing to meet her at 140-lbs.
In a recent interview Santos said that she won’t say anything until a contract is signed and adds:
“As I said in my last interview, the 145lbs division is my category but I can drop until 140lbs to fight her. It does not depend on me, it is up to the event. My business is to fight inside the cage and do not trash talk outside the fence. I’m available for the event [to talk to me] on those terms”
“I will only talk about his fight when I sign the contract to say she is going to be my next adversary. There is no reason to speak about it, having nothing concrete.”
Santos’ most recent fight was last year, where she finished Japanese fighter, Hiroko Yamanaka. However her victory was overturned to a “No Contest” rule, after she received a one-year suspension from the California State Athletic Commission and was stripped of her title.View Article Source »
