UFC 150 Earned $650,000 at Live Gate With an Attendance of 15,008 Fans
"UFC 150: Henderson vs. Edgar II" was held at at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, last Saturday night
UFC 150 reportedly drew an attendance of 15,008 Fans, with a live gate earnings of $650,000.
The UFC event took place at Denver’s Pepsi Center, with its main card aired on pay-per-view and its prelims shown on on FX and streamed on Facebook.
The show was headlined by a lightweight title rematch between champion Benson Henderson and former champ Frankie Edgar. Henderson retained his belt with a close split decision, after the judges ruled on twice on his favor with a 48-47 score and only 49-46 for the challenger.
The co-main event, was won by Donald Cerrone after defeating Melvin Guillard with a KO. Cerrone was awarded “Knockout of the Night” and “Fight of the Night” bonuses, worth $60,000 each.
UFC promotion last visited Denver’s Pepsi Center, last September 2011 for their UFC 135 show. The event drew only 16,344 fans, with a live gate of nearly $2.1 million.View Article Source »
