Drug Test Results for UFC 148 Fighters, Come Back Clean
UFC 148 featured UFC middleweight champion Anderson who defeated nemesis, Chael Sonnen
Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer has confirmed the drug results for the recently concluded, UFC 148 event. Fortunately, drug-testing results all came back clean.
All 22 fighters subjected themselves to a drug-testing for performance-enhancing drugs and recreational/drugs of abuse. The results are negative for drugs of abuse (such as marijuana and cocaine), as well as anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancers.
Chael Sonnen, undergoed a seperate testing process as a condition of his licensure with the commission. His post-fight test showed that his testosterone levels were within allowable limits.
Kizer also confirmed that Forrest Griffin was also granted a therapeutic-use exemption for testosterone replacement therapy.
