UFC 148 Fighter Payouts
Forrest Griffin and Tito Ortiz are the event's highest earners
The Nevada State Athletic Commission has diclosed the fighter’s payroll for the recently concluded, “UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II” event.
Topping the list is Forrest Griffin, who earned $275,000, inclusive of a $150,000 win bonus. While his co-main event fighter, UFC Hall of Famer, Tito Ortiz, came in at second place and earned a flat fee of $250,000. Coming in at third place is headliner, and UFC middleweight champ, Anderson Silva, who received $200,000 with no win bonus, while his contender Chael Sonnen, only received a salary of $50,000.
The total disclosed payroll for the event was $1,438,000.
