Jay Hieron Faces Romario Da Silva at Legacy FC 12

Hieron was originally set to fight Mike Bronzoulis, who was pulled out due to an injury
Welterweight fighter, Jay Hieron now has a new opponent for next week’s Legacy Fighting Championship 12 event.
Hieron was scheduled to fight former LFC welterweight titleholder Mike Bronzoulis, who was forced to withdraw from the event due to an injury. Replacing him is Brazilian veteran and LFC newcomer Romario Da Silva.
Hieron, a UFC and Strikeforce veteran, enjoyed a 10-fight win streak before losing to champion Ben Askren, via a split decision in last October’s Bellator event. He left the promotion after his loss.
While Da Silva has spent most of his time fighting in his hometown, Brazil. He recently earned a decision win over Jaime Jara at a Shark Fights event, which serves as his third win out of four fights.
