Official Weigh-in Results for Bellator 71

Rich Hale withdraws from this light heavyweight bout against Beau Tribolet, due To illness
The official fighter weigh-ins for tomorrow’s Bellator 71 event took place today at the Mountaineer Casino Resort in Chester, West Virginia. All eight light heavyweights made weight for their respective bouts.
Bellator 71 signals the start of Bellator Fighting Championships’ 2012 Summer Series tournament.
The event will be headlined by a bout between fellow light heavyweight fighters, Travis Wiuff and Chris Davis. It is also set to feature the Bellator debut of former Strikeforce Grand Prix contender, Brett ‘The Grim’ Rogers. He is set to fight against Kevin Asplund in the event’s preliminary card.
Light heavyweight Rich Hale has withdrawn from his bout against Beau Tribolet, due to an illness. He will be replaced by Tim Carpenter, who was orignally set to fight John Hawk.
