Vitor Belfort, Pulled Out From UFC 147

Vitor ‘The Phenom’ Belfort withdraws from UFC 147 due to a hand injury.
Former UFC champion and current “TUF Brazil” coach, Vitor ‘The Phenom’ Belfort will no longer be a part of UFC 147, where he was slated to headline the event along with fellow Brazililan, Wanderlei Silva.
Accrording to UFC President Dana White, Belfort has broken his left hand while training and needs to undergo surgery.
“I wake up this morning, and I find out Vitor Belfort breaks his hand, and he has to have [expletive] surgery,” White said during UFC 146’s post fight press conference, last Saturday.
Belfort and Silva were set to have a middleweight rematch on June 23 at the Mineirinho Arena in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
White said that Silva will remain on the card and they are working to find an opponent for him.
