‘Big Nog’ To Return To The Octagon This July

Former UFC heavyweight champ Antônio Rodrigo ‘Big Nog’ Nogueira is set to make a comeback on UFC 149, this July.
Former UFC heavyweight champ Antônio Rodrigo ‘Big Nog’ Nogueira is set to make a comeback on the octagon this July 21. The ‘Big Nog’ suffered a painful defeat during the last UFC 140 event, where he got his arm twisted by his opponent, Frank Mir and lost through a technical submission.
He will be pitted against French striker, Cheick Kongo, at UFC 149. UFC officials have released this official statement via UFC.com:
“Two feared heavyweights will return to the cage this summer in Calgary, as verbal agreements are in for Cheick Kongo and former champ Minotauro Nogueira to do battle July 21.”
Like the ‘Big Nog’, Kongo also came in from a loss in his last bout. He got defeated by Mark Hunt last February, at UFC 144.
UFC 149 will be held at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is set to to take place on July 21, 2012.
