Quick Results for Bellator 66: Alvarez vs. Aoki

Alvarez defeated Aoki with a first round knock out, wants to fight Bjorn Rebney next.

66 concluded its event at the I-X Center in Cleveland, Ohio, last Friday. The bout was headlined by former champ and DREAM champ .

Alvarez avenged his previous loss to Aoki by earning a first-round knockout. He bombarded Aoki with a series of punches after lunging with an overhead punch on the temple. Alvarez “repeatedly bounced his opponent’s head off the canvas”.

The referee stopped the fight at 2:14 mark of the first round.

Alvarez was asked during an after fight interview what his victory meant to him, he said:

“It means Bjorn Rebney, show me the money, Bjorn Rebney where you at? Show me the money.”
