Dennis Siver Expects to be “More Explosive” at Featherweight

UFC veteran Dennis Siver, drops to featherweight after losing to Donald Cerrone last October, at UFC 137.
UFC veteran Dennis Siver will debut as a featherweight fighter in the upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 2 card. Siver recently dropped down to featherweight after getting defeated by Donald Cerrone in last year’s UFC 137 bout.
In a recent interview, posted in UFC.com, Siver expects to be “more explosive” in his new weight class.
“I wanted to try something new and felt a real surge of motivation when I thought of dropping down in weight, obviously, my reach is much better suited for the featherweight division than the lightweight division.”
“I was a real powerhouse at 155 and expect to be able to use my power to my advantage even more at 145. Fighting at 145 should also make me more explosive.”
Siver will face Diego Nunes on the main card of the UFC on FUEL TV 2 event, that will be held at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on April 14, 2012.
