Josh ‘The Warmaster’ Barnett, passes urine drug test, allowed to fight in Heavyweight Grand Prix Final
Strikeforce Heavyweight fighter Josh ‘The Warmaster’ Barnett, was granted a conditional fighters license by the California State Athletic Commission on Monday. He passed a random urine drug test and has been allowed to fight Daniel Cormier in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Final in San Jose, California. The fight will be held on May 19, 2012.
Barnett, was denied a license back in 2009, after failing a pre-drug test for his scheduled fight against Fedor Emelianenko at the “Affliction: Trilogy” show. He is fortunate to be given another chance by the CSAC, after also testing positive for a banned substance in 2002, where he was stripped of his UFC heavyweight title and kicked out of UFC.View Article Source »
