Video: Dana White Said They Always Plan to Come Back to Denver

According to MMAWeekly's interview with Dana White, UFC planned to go back to Denver a long time ago.
The successful Ultimate Fighting Championship made a journey in Denver almost 20 years ago. However, the said promotion hasn’t done any pay-per-view event in the Mile High City since “The Ultimate Ultimate” in 1995. The promotion is still not under the Zuffa LLC back then.
Dana White, the president of UFC, said in an interview with MMAWeekly.com that the company already planned their return to Denver. Now, they can finally do it. The big event that is set to take place in Denver will be UFC 135, where the UFC light heavyweight champion – Jon Jones – put his title on the line against the former champ — Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. UFC 135 also pits UFC Hall of Famer – Matt Hughes – against inaugural “Ultimate Fighter” winner – Diego Sanchez – as its co-main event on September 24 at the Pepsi Center.
