Ryan Ford Signs for Bellator Fighting Championships
Canadian welterweight fighter, Ryan Ford, now ready to battle under a new home.
Professional Canadian MMA fighter, Ryan Ford, will be keeping up his career under a new promotion company. Earlier reports disclosed that he recently signed a contract under the Bellator Fighting Championships.
The 29-year-old fighter began his career under the supervision of the Maximum Fighting Championship company, wherein he attained a record of 6-2, including victories over Pete Spratt, Laverne Clark and CJ Fernandes; and two losses to Pat Healy. Eventually, Ryan Ford then signed a contract under the Edmonton-based promotion — The Fight Club. He got the TFC Interim Welterweight Title and TFC World Welterweight Title way back in 2009.
For over several years, Ryan Ford has been fighting in MMA events in Canada, boasting a record of 16-3. He now holds an 8-1 stretch, which includes victories to Pete Spratt and Karo Parisyan.
As of now, Bellator hasn’t announced the official place and date for Ryan Ford’s debut, knowing that the list of fighters for the Season 5 has already been finalized. However, sources said that he is possible to fight in a Bellator event this fall.View Article Source »
