Vladimir Matyushenko: Out of UFC 133 due to Injury
Another fighter was scrapped from UFC 133 lineup, as Vladimir Matyushenko bows out of his match due to injury.
The UFC 133 fight card was shuffled once again, as Vladimir Matyushenko bows out of his match versus Alexander Gustafsson due to undisclosed injury. The latter will now face Matt Hamill, after being tapped on short notice.
Alexander Gustafsson will try to gain his second consecutive win at the said tournament. The 24-year-old fighter carries a 3-1 record since entering UFC in 2009. Meanwhile, Matt Hamill was carrying a five-fight win streak before Quinton Jackson snapped it at UFC 130 via unanimous decision. The veteran fighter holds notable wins over Mark Munoz, Keith Jardine and Tito Ortiz. He also won over reigning light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, although it was via disqualification.
UFC 133, which will now feature a light heavyweight battle between Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz, will kick off on August 6, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.View Article Source »
