Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos Renews Contract with Strikeforce

Female MMA fighter, Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos, signed a new contract under Strikeforce. Will she be back in action soon?
Recent news unveiled that Strikeforce made women’s middleweight titleholder, Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos, a free agent. Well, perhaps this would be the right time to abandon this claim as her manager – Master Rudimar Fedrigo – announced yesterday that the 145lb. champion is still fighting under the company with a renewed contract.
Though most of the contract details were not revealed, Rudimar Fedrigo feels “very happy” and proud of Cyborg Santos’ official comeback with Strikeforce. The manager also admitted that he is still communicating with the organization, even though he’s not allowed to do such a thing for their deal with Strikeforce had been cut down. According to him, Cyborg Santos “really wants to renew with the event” and a somewhat “financial issue” has been the reason why they cannot sign a new agreement.
The 25 year-old female MMA fighter has not been listed in any bouts since June last year, wherein she outstandingly finished Jan Finney during the second round. Stay tuned to Fighting Insider for more details regarding Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and Strikeforce.
